Training Credits are Up Next Baseball’s internal rewards currency. You earn them automatically through qualifying purchases, and you can use them toward future training. Credits are securely tied to your Manage Sessions account so only you can use them.
What Training Credits Are
- 1 Training Credit = $1.00 toward eligible purchases
- Credits are stored in your Training Credits Bank, linked to your Up Next athlete profile
- Credits are applied directly at checkout as a Training Credits Applied discount line
- Credits never expire unless noted in a specific promotion
- Credits are not transferable between accounts or athletes
Where to See Your Credit Balance
You must be logged in to your Manage Sessions account to earn and spend credits:
- Go to Manage Sessions
- Log in using the email you use for training
- Your current Training Credits balance appears at the top of the dashboard. If it does not appear, refresh the page after a login.
How to Earn Training Credits
You can earn Training Credits automatically from several activity types.
1. Package Progress Bonuses (Per Calendar Year)
We track your package purchases from January 1 to December 31. When you complete qualifying package milestones for the same athlete, you earn:
- 3 × 3-session packages → + $10
- 3 × 5-session packages → + $20
- 3 × 10-session packages → + $30
Credits are added automatically once the qualifying order(s) are completed. These bonuses are only eligible to be earned once per year (one of each type). Progress towards these bonuses will reset each calendar year.
2. Consistency Bonus
If you purchase at least one training package in 3 consecutive calendar months, you earn:
- + $15 Consistency Credit
Example:
Buy any package in January → February → March → you earn the consistency bonus in March.
-NOTE: These are the only bonuses subscription packages are eligible for due to their existing large discounts.
3. Large Package Rewards
Larger packages come with extra credit automatically:
- 20-session package → + $25
- 30-session package → + $50
The bonus is added when the order is completed. 20 and 30 Packages are the best value possible at Up Next over the course of a year (even compared to subscriptions) due to the Training Credit awards. Just remember no Training Credits are awarded if a coupon is used to purchase a package. (Based on roughly 60 sessions per year)
4. Slot-Filling Incentive (When Available)
At times, you may see certain session times marked as bonus-eligible on the calendar, similar to how the Waitlist label appears for single session bookings (non-package bookings).
If you book one of these bonus-marked time slots, you receive the advertised Training Credit reward of $2 once your purchase completes.
Users will not receive a credit for joining from the waitlist.
5. When Credits Are Not Earned
Training Credits are not earned on:
- Orders where a coupon code is used
- Orders where a Gift Card is used
- One-off manually discounted orders
- Special promotions labeled as non-credit-earning
You can still earn credits even if you use Training Credits to pay part of an order — as long as no coupon code or Gift Card is used.
How to Use Training Credits at Checkout
When you’re logged in, the checkout shows a Training Credits box with:

Training Credits vs. Gift Cards vs. Coupons
These are three different systems:
Training Credits
- Earned through package purchases, bonuses, and internal rewards
- Stored in your Training Credits Bank
- Used via the Apply Credits option at checkout
- Linked to your athlete account and not transferable
Gift Cards
- Purchased separately via our Gift Cards page
- Gift Cards are delivered as a store credit coupon code
- Can be used on any account
- Can be used until the balance is exhausted
- Not tied to Manage Sessions
- Similar to our sale coupons
- Can be used by clicking add coupon in the order summary box on the checkout page
- If on mobile, you will have to click the dropdown menu of Order Summary box to see the add coupon field
Coupons
- Emailed to distribution list occasionally as sale coupons
- Work similarly to Gift Cards but instead are time-limited percentage discounts
- Have no balance and apply as percentages
- Not tied to Manage Sessions
- Can be used by clicking add coupon in the order summary box on the checkout page
- If on mobile, you will have to click the dropdown menu or Order Summary box to see the add coupon field
Program Notes
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be refunded
- Credits apply to any product or service we offer
- Program rules may be updated periodically
- If you believe your balance is incorrect, contact us and we’re happy to review it
Waitlist Rules
The Up Next Baseball waitlist is informational only. It does not reserve, confirm, auto-book, or charge for appointments.
Services that support waitlists
• Baseball Sessions and Rentals have a waitlist
• Strength Services DO NOT (strength sessions, adult fitness, etc.) use a waitlist currently.
When the waitlist appears
The waitlist appears only when:
- A Baseball Session time slot is fully booked (could be some rentals and some baseball sessions – if the slot is fully booked, a waitlist session will show)
- Any Rent a Cage service that is fully booked with other rentals. If other Baseball Sessions are booked during a time when Rentals are also booked, only Baseball Sessions will have a waitlist for that time slot, as we prioritize Baseball Sessions over rentals.
- A waitlist is enabled for that specific time
- The waitlist appears in the standard booking flow AND in the Customer Panel Book from Packages tab – a new feature. Previously, before February 18th, 2026, Waitlist only appeared in the normal booking flow. Now, customers can sign up for the waitlist notification directly from the Book from Packages tab.
Who can join the waitlist (including package holders)
Customers WITHOUT a package
• Can join the waitlist directly from the standard booking flow (Rent a Cage / Baseball Session)
Customers WITH a package
- Can join the waitlist directly from the standard booking flow (Rent a Cage / Baseball Session)
- OR they can now join directly from the Book from Packages tab. Joining from the Book from Packages tab is identical (in practice) to the normal booking flow – no credits are deducted from the package if joined that way. It just signs the customer up for an email notification if a slot opens up. The customer still has to manually book the newly opened slot on a first come first served basis.
Joining the waitlist this way:
• Does not charge your card
• Does not consume a package session
• Does not create an appointment
What happens after joining the waitlist
• The customer receives an email confirming they are on the waitlist
• No spot is reserved
• No booking is created
What happens when a spot opens
• The customer receives an email stating that a spot is now available
• This email is informational only
• The spot is not reserved
• Booking is first-come, first-served
How the customer must book once a spot opens
After receiving the “spot opened” email, the customer must manually book:
• If they have a package:
– Log in to their account
– Go to Manage Sessions → Book from Packages
– Book the now-available time slot using a package session.
• If they do NOT have a package:
– Book through the normal booking flow on the website
– Complete checkout and payment
If the slot is no longer available or does not show up, another customer booked it first.
